HM (Hybrid Mesh) Cast- One Step Type Kit is the cast that allows you to take a shower while wearing the cast.
INTRODUCTION
Permeability
With traditional cast , you have to first wrap the affected area with cotton fabric and bind it with bandage, or tape it with tape or cast bandage. So, it causes itching and odor as you can not have contact with water , which causes great pain on patient’s part.
HM CAST is made up of a unique fabric, which is knitted with unique weaving, so it has a good air permeability, thus resulting in reduction of itching and odor. As a result, after you shower or bath it is naturally dried with air permeation and body temperature (water repellent fabric).
Wearing Procedure
With traditional tape method, it requires a measure of expertise for wearing procedure. And despite such expertise, still there is a possibility of wound due to curved surface of skin.
HM CAST is worn just like socks are worn. And due to its flexibility, it hardens according to the natural curves of skin so it causes no wound and feels comfortable.
Permeability
With plaster or glass fiber products, they hinder X-ray from permeating so it makes hard to verify the healing process of bones.
HM CAST is made of cotton yarn so X-ray can easily permeates and helps easily verify detailed healing process of bones.
Light weight
HM CAST is a lot lighter than existing products so it reduces discomfort of patients.
HM CAST is made of a unique fabric enabling air to permeate easily so that absorption and discharge of moisture naturally takes place and there is no accumulation of moisture on the product which burdens patients.
Fashionable
HM CAST is a stocking-shaped product on which you can personally add patterns or select different colors of the products so you can have your own fashionable cast.
Environmental
Traditional cast is made of glass fiber so it is hard to incinerate.
HM CAST is poly type cotton yarn fabric so it is easy to incinerate.
